Our Story
二世古 · Niseko · Hokkaido · Japan
Niseko is growing fast. New hotels, new chalets, new visitors from every corner of the world — but not always enough places to eat.
We noticed something else too. Niseko is home to hundreds of international workers — talented, passionate people from Thailand, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines and beyond — many of whom are incredible cooks who bring the flavours of their home countries with them. They work hard during the season, but their days off don't always line up with regular part-time opportunities.
So we asked ourselves: why not connect both worlds?
"A platform that brings together people who love to cook and people who love to eat."
Invitochef was born from that simple idea. Whether you're a guest who wants to taste authentic Thai food after a long day on the slopes, or a local worker who wants to share their grandmother's recipes and earn extra income on their day off — Invitochef was made for you.
The people behind itWe are Yang and Grace — a couple who fell in love with Japan and made Niseko our home. Yang has been living in Japan for 6 years, Grace for 8 — and between us, we have built a life here that we are deeply proud of.
Niseko is where we work, where we grow, and where we are building our future together. We have no plans to leave.
Invitochef is part of that future. We believe in the power of food to connect people — across cultures, across languages, across the dinner table. And we believe that the international community that makes Niseko so special deserves a platform that celebrates what they bring to this mountain town.
We are proud to be operated under Yotei Group Co., Ltd. — our small but growing company, named after the beautiful mountain that watches over us every day.
Welcome to Invitochef.
We can't wait to bring a chef to your table.
